A few years ago i had the pleasure of reviewing the 600W Seasonic S12, which at the time was not as well known and revered as it is today. Seasonic had a growing reputation in the good ol' USA, but here in the UK it was difficult to find a distributor, let alone an e-tailer who had any of their units in stock. It took longer than expected, but Corsair now joins the crowd of companies offering kilowatt power supplies. We put their latest offering through our tests to see if it brings anything new to market.

NVIDIA video card owners should definitely take a look at the NVIDIA System Tools suite which can be downloaded from NVIDIA. It is a set of system tools that have to be installed next to the video card drivers. The suite consists of three different tools which are installed separately during installation: NVIDIA Performance Group, NVIDIA System Monitor and NVIDIA System Update. There is unfortunately no way to pick the tools to install, all three will be installed together on the system.

There were a lot of "new" PSUs on display, though most come from one of several ODMs. We also looked at a few of the cases at the show.
