Some great applications have been updated in the last seven, or shall I say six, days. I missed last weeks post by a day and this means that you will only be able to get the updates of the last six days because last week got eight. Nevertheless this weeks above average if you look at the programs that have been updated, talking about CCleaner, DVDFab HD Decrypter, Locate, Notepad++, Rivatuner and Sandboxie.
All high caliber applications that are surely installed on many computers. The software update of the week award goes to Sandboxie this time. It deserves some more attention, that’s my main reason for picking the application.

MediaMonkey 3.0.3.1164 RC4 - provides music management and playback.
MozBackup 1.4.8 Beta - provides functions to backup most Mozilla applications (like Firefox, Thunderbird)
Nokia PC Suite 6.86.9.3 - a must have if you own a Nokia phone.
Notepad++ 4.9 Beta - an Notepad replacement with increased functionality.
Pixelformer 0.8.1 Beta - high quality icon editor.
Real Alternative Regular 1.8.0 - play Real Media without having to install the bloated Real Player.
RivaTuner 2.09 - excellent application to tweak the video card.
Sandboxie 3.26 - run programs in sandbox environment to prevent harm to the system.
Skype 3.8.0.115 - VOIP software.
Streamripper 1.63 Beta 8 - the mother of all stream ripping applications.
System Explorer 1.5 Beta 1 - displays lots of system information.
UpdateStar 2.1.548 Beta - scans the system for available software updates.
Weather Watcher 5.6.26 - probably the best weather related software.
Winpatrol 15.0.2008.0 - prevents that applications take over system functions or add themselves to the startup.
WinBubble 1.72 - tweaker for Windows Vista.
Xfire 1.91 - an instant messenger designed for gamers.
