Read more »The Places Bar in Windows appears in every save and open dialog in Windows. It is placed on the left side of the dialog displaying five locations that can be reached by clicking on them, think of favorites or quick links and you pretty much got it.
I already covered one application that can edit that Places Bar in Windows but it’s never bad to have additional applications available that can do the same in case one of them disappears from the Internet. (yes that can happen).

Read more »In the last days I have been looking for a Firefox extension that would make it possible to open multiple bookmarks (and History items) at once. What I mean with this is that I wanted something like the CTRL left-click in Windows Explorer that lets you pick several files at once. My main problem was that the bookmarks menu collapsed as soon as I picked on bookmark that I wanted to load.

Add-ons in Opera are called Widgets instead and it puzzles me every time why Opera is hiding that Widgets site so perfectly when you visit the main Opera website. Samer reviewed a wonderful software at his website Freeware Genius today called Album Art Downloader and I would like to take the opportunity to review it as well. When I looked at my mp3 collection the other day I realized that several songs were not properly tagged and that some cover artwork was missing as well. There always seems to be something missing no matter how hard I try to keep everything up to date.
